Staying in the countryside is about stepping out of the pace. At Kirkeskovgaard you sleep in a cabin, a holiday home or a new room in the middle of fields, forest and lakes – with all the comfort you need: private bathroom, kitchen or kitchenette, free Wi-Fi and parking by the door.
You can say hello to the Icelandic horses, light a fire by the lake, follow the roe deer along the paths or simply sit with a book and listen. We have no crowds and no artificial turf – we have calm, real nature and warmth.

Are there animals on the farm?
Yes, Icelandic horses in the field and plenty of wildlife such as roe deer, foxes, otters and birds. You are welcome to say hello to the horses.
Are there shops nearby?
Yes, there are shops nearby and we are happy to point you to good places.
Can I stay in the countryside without a car?
The farm is rural, so a car is easiest. Contact us if you have questions about transport.

“The cabin comes highly recommended! A lovely, quiet place, rural and cosy, full of idyll! Good communication with Annette, and the cabin was clean, neat and lovely – I slept like a baby. It was wonderful to make a cup of tea in the morning with a fantastic view over the lake, with cows and horses grazing around me. Thank you for a good night’s sleep – I hope to book the cabin again next time I’m running a course in Jutland.”
