The best of both worlds

Many people search for a hotel or hostel in southern Denmark because they want a simple, affordable and pleasant place to sleep. Kirkeskovgaard is neither a hotel nor a hostel – but our four luxury rooms in the old hayloft give you the best of both:

  • Like a hotel: your own large bathroom, clean bright rooms and good beds.

  • Like a hostel: a large 90 m² common room and a full kitchen where people meet and chat – shared with at most six other guests.

  • Like neither: lakes, forest, a fire by the water, Icelandic horses and hosts who live on the farm.

Please note: breakfast is not included, but you can make your own in the shared kitchen.

  • “The cabin comes highly recommended! A lovely, quiet place, rural and cosy, full of idyll! Good communication with Annette, and the cabin was clean, neat and lovely – I slept like a baby. It was wonderful to make a cup of tea in the morning with a fantastic view over the lake, with cows and horses grazing around me. Thank you for a good night’s sleep – I hope to book the cabin again next time I’m running a course in Jutland.”

  • “A day before we arrived, Annette wrote to me that she wanted to give us an upgrade so that we could have a lovely, quiet night. … Everything went smoothly and we’re really sorry we could only stay one night. Well-deserved five stars!”
