Planning a week, a long weekend or a family holiday in southern Denmark? The Dower House at Kirkeskovgaard gives you a whole house to yourselves – room for six, three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and a terrace with a pergola where everyone gathers after the day’s outings.
The house was fully renovated in 2020 and is furnished in a light, calm style. Outside lie the garden, lakes, meadows and grazing horses – and if you want to venture further, Ribe, Tønder, Rømø and the Wadden Sea are a drive away.

“The cabin comes highly recommended! A lovely, quiet place, rural and cosy, full of idyll! Good communication with Annette, and the cabin was clean, neat and lovely – I slept like a baby. It was wonderful to make a cup of tea in the morning with a fantastic view over the lake, with cows and horses grazing around me. Thank you for a good night’s sleep – I hope to book the cabin again next time I’m running a course in Jutland.”
