The Dower House is Kirkeskovgaard's original retirement cottage – a red-brick house, fully renovated in 2020 and furnished in a light, calm style. You have the whole house to yourselves with three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
The house sits in beautiful surroundings with direct views of several lakes, meadows and grazing Icelandic horses. The terrace with its pergola and raised beds is the natural meeting point, and in the evening you can light a fire by one of the lakes.
It is the house for families, friends and couples who want more space and more privacy – and for those who want to stay longer than a weekend. If you need somewhere to work or play, there is room for both.

No, breakfast is not included. You have a kitchen or kitchenette, and we are happy to point you to good places to shop nearby.

Write to us and we will agree a time. We are flexible if you arrive early or late – you get a personal reply from us.

Yes, the wood-fired hot tub, infrared sauna and massage chair can be booked as an add-on. Just ask when you book.
